Pink and black giveaway | Chocodrey

So it's time to do that giveaway thingy I think.
I have had this article ready for months and never published it.
Now how to enter? Well you won't believe this I'm sure but to enter all you need to do is to post a comment in the comment box of this article and basically advertise yourself + fill in the form below so I can contact you when you have won.
I am quite curious to know who you are, if you have a blog or an instagram etc. So whatever it is you have post your link in the comment or in the form, let me know if it is a beauty, lifestyle or just a personal blog. If you don't have a blog, just blast out your name/nickname and let me know what brought you on my page :).

That's it !

Now for the giveaway products, I don't have time to check them all in details (if I do this might take another two weeks). So initially, I numbered everything but now really, the images speak for themselves. If you have any question, please post a comment in the comment box.

You have until January 10th 2015 to enter.

Back to business

Hello lovelies,

It's time to come back.

I left that blog (and a few other things) to rut after getting a new job and it is time to blow on the dust and reopen the book! I have kept a video under wrap for a while and really need to publish it as I feel it might be good to publish it. To be continued...

PSSSsss, it's about hair ;)

LET IT GO

CURTAINS

Hello lovelies,

It's hard to keep up with blogging.
I just came back from a show performed by my beloved City Academy musical theater company and it kind of helped me get back in touch with all these things I enjoyed doing when I had more free time. I now have a wonderful job but it is taking most of my time and I find it difficult to do anything else. I am listening to frozen 'let it go' as I write this and it couldn't be more appropriate. It's time I let go of work and I get back to what I enjoy doing which is blogging, sharing tips about hair and ethical fashion and finally, sing and dance my butt off in musical theater troupe. I hope you will stay tunned and I'll see you soon dear reader!

My love affair with musical theatre | Chocodrey

Me, Musical Theatre and Co.

Oye Oye

I might have forgotten to tell you that I am a singer and musical theatre stage artist? Okay, okay, it is at Amateur level but trust me when I tell you that there is nothing amateurish when it comes to the way you feel before getting on the stage of a 400 seater in London.

Here are a few takes from the past productions I was a part of:

On stage at Riverside Studios in London performing The Witches of Eastwick, 2013.

The Ethical Fashion Talk | CHOCODREY

Demystifying ethical fashion.

Hello lovelies!

Here my video explaining what ethical fashion is (for me). I spend a lot of time working on projects to make ethical fashion accessible, easy to understand, and easy to discover with my website and The Selectablestyle Experience. I will talk more about this later. Stay tuned!

Hope you enjoy the video!
Don't hesitate to post comments bellow if you have any question.

I made a cardboard table | From rubbish to treasure | Chocodrey

I made a cardboard coffe table with my rubbish!

Hi Lovelies!

Yesterday I was left with two packaging boxes and challenged myself to make a table out of it. I browsed the Internet to find inspiration and found some amazing stuff. Only problem, no instruction what so ever. So I decided to look at the design and find out how to make something similar. I am pretty proud of the result! What do you think?

Hello Again!

Hello again!

I have been a bad, bad, bad blogger lately... I didn't post and literally abandoned this space. I apologise. I did not have a computer for a while, now I have one again and I am frustrated, as I don’t have a program to do illustrations anymore. But let's forget about this. I am feeling really festive these days; especially since Christmas markets are starting to pop-up all over London! This is the South Bank Centre Market, which opened yesterday. It was really busy and after a while all markets start to look the same, however, I am really happy I went to this one as I discovered the lovely Charlotte Campbell singing next to the river. Hope you enjoy the pics and stay tuned, as my next post will be about a giveaway! (For real this time...).

Sunday frizzy walk: is it really spring?

Sunday I braved the cold and went to walk and play outside in the streets of London. I wanted to try to wear my green hat which I , if I remember correctly, bought because it was the same colour as my nail polih  tartan trousers (consumerism...), but left in the corner of my wardrobe for months because I did not think I could pull it off. The thing is that I have decided about two years ago that I would no longer buy clothes that I don't need, I would wear what I have, donate what I don't wear, up-cycle what I cant donate and buy sustainable/ethical clothes or clothes from charity shops. You've gessed it, my goal is to have a more sustainable wardrobe and it's difficult, especially when I want to buy some items from the H&M Conscious collection! But I won't, I don't have the budget and frankly, I know that I don't really need these clothes so I will do with what I've got.

FYI

I'm wearing/Je porte:

Trousers & Hat | Uniqlo
Bag | Second hand shop
Coat | Zara
Jumper | River Island (men)
Shoes | Accessorizes

Introducing: selectablestyle.com [ My Homemade Website]

Hey Guys!

I recently launched a new website about sustainable style and I am really excited about it! If you are interested in ethics and sustainability but you don't think it it possible to find cool products , I am telling you, it is! Every week or so, I put together a "cliché" (collage) of stylish sustainable products together to change people's perception of sustainable living and get them to think about buying ethical products. I am not talking about itchy boring sweaters, no, I am talking about seriously fierce products!

Check it out, share it if you like and let me know what you think :)

London Fashion Week: etHiquette check

Hi there! Last month I had the chance to attend London Fashion Week as part of my role at the Ethical Fashion Forum. I could not attend the shows but I had a press pass which was pretty cool as I was allowed in all the exhibitions where you could discover new brands and established designers' new collections. I have to admit that I focused more on ethical fashion as this is what interests me the most but I still got to take some pictures around to share with you guys. Many people dressed to impress and as I wasn't dressed like a freak, (lets say it, I was a bit of a tourist...), I got to speak wit a lot of designers who thought that I might be a buyer or something serious (because I looked normal). Anyways, it was really fun and I look forward to attending next season and maybe go to a few shows!!!

Topshop souvenir surprise: you could collect pins from your favourite designers!
